Pre Christmas projects

As we had a lot of work to do this week in anticipation of Christmas I decided that we would focus on a few Christmas themed projects instead if the usual curriculum. We made Saint Nicholas day cookies, read about Saint Nicholas and did the corresponding page in his liturgical journal, and spent a lot of time creating scrapbooks for the great grandparents which we mailed out this week. We also visited the library once and on Saint Nicholas day itself we will open gifts and visit the Christmas market downtown like we did last year. I hope to be back on track with our regular stuff next week to some degree. But we will see.
